Prior to Appcelerator, Carl was Vice President of Engineering, Product Portfolio Management at CA Technologies, and Director of Engineering at Pure Digital Technologies. He also served as Ariba's Vice President of Applications Engineering, and as Adobe's Senior Director of Server Engineering and Director of Acrobat Engineering. Carl has a Bachelor's of Applied Science in Systems Design from the University of Waterloo, and has completed advanced courses in project management and computer science at UC Berkeley and Stanford University.Michael Fairchild, Director of The AT&amp\;T FoundryMichael focuses on innovation and products at the Palo Alto AT&amp\;T Foundry, bringing new startups and new technologists together with business, developers and users in the form of new products and platforms.Michael studied physics at UCLA, and then spent time building beowulf computer clusters. Michael spent time building out several business web applications deployed to the cloud, then joined the R&amp\;D department at AT&amp\;T Interactive to work on distributed systems and cloud orchestration software, before joining the platform services group at AT&amp\;T Interactive. Michael left AT&amp\;T Interactive to open the Palo Alto AT&amp\;T Foundry, where he works now.Rob Lister, Director of Design, The AT&amp\;T FoundryAs a business leader, Rob acts as Director of Design, and Director of Enterprise projects for AT&amp\;T's flagship innovation center, The Foundry, and managed IDEO's medical products group overseeing dozens of innovative projects, including developing and delivering a device strategy for a major global pharmaceutical company that supports 50% of their entire pipeline. Rob has overseen, managed and implemented dozens of development programs for a wide range of industries including telecommunications, financial services, medical devices, food &amp\; beverage and fashion. He holds two US Patents for products used in the healthcare industry.
