Brendon Kraham, Google Global Mobile Sales & Product Strategy
As part of the Global Mobile Sales & Product Strategy Group, Brendon and his team are responsible for driving mobile revenue growth, scaling sales efforts around the world, and launching new ads products (across search and display) to the marketplace. He joined Google as part of the company’s acquisition of AdMob in May 2010 where he served as a senior director of sales. Brendon has more than 10 years of experience in sales having previously lead teams at Google and LookSmart. Brendon is a graduate of Seton Hall University.
Anne joined InMobi in 2008 as Head of North America. She most recently served as Vice President of Category and Sales Intelligence at Yahoo! where she worked from 2003 to 2008. At Yahoo, she was charged with managing Yahoo’s most important categories that accounted for a majority of the company’s revenue. She and her team provided leading branded advertisers and top-tier agencies, strategic insights and digital media solutions. Anne has been working in the digital media industry for the past eleven years. Most recently she was selected as one of Mobile Entertainment Magazine’s Top 10 Women in Mobile. She helped found an online shopping service in 1996 that was ultimately funded by CMP Media, and then she focused on local search in 1997 at Zip2 Corporation where she served as a Director of Publisher Development. Prior to her work in digital media, Anne was an investment analyst at Goldman Sachs.
Shannan is a partner in the Technology and Intellectual Property Transactions practice group at K&L Gates. Vishal Gurbuxani, Chief Technology Officer, Velti
Vishal Gurbuxani joined Velti as a co-founder of Mobclix. In 2011 he was promoted to Chief Technology Officer at Velti. Previously, he has worked at Accenture, focusing on Digital Media, Mobile, Big Data, Content Optimization, and Predictive Analytics. He has filed numerous patents on Predictive Monitoring, Mobile Analytics and Monetization. He designed the architecture of a workflow system for the creation and movement of media as well as an analytics and insight platform for remote monitoring and diagnostics. He graduated with Honors with a BS and MS in Computer Engineering from Santa Clara University.
Kurt Hawks, General Manager, Greystripe
Kurt leads the Greystripe organization and is responsible for the company’s market vision and execution. He was most recently Greystripe’s VP of Operations, where he was responsible for all aspects of the company’s business operations. Prior to Greystripe, Kurt was at Monitor Ventures where he focused on evaluating investment opportunities and building early-stage businesses in the areas of mobile, media, software and business services. Previously, Kurt was an Engagement Manager at Monitor Group where he advised clients on various corporate strategy issues including development of growth strategies, organizational design and new business creation. Kurt was also a Project Manager at Sapient Corporation and is a graduate of Boston College.
Mathias is the founder of EyeTrackShop, the World's First Online Biometric Research Company using Webcams to identify Eye Movements. EyeTrackShop is a rapid growing start-up helping Advertisers, Agencies and Publishers to evaluate and improve the Digital Performance of Branding Campaigns. EyeTrackShop has offices in New York, Los Angeles, Shanghai, Stockholm and London. Mathias was awarded the Innovation Award for the development of the most innovative research developers from the 2012 Advertising Research Foundation Great Minds Awards (ARF).
Mahi is responsible for commercial activities for Opera’s consumer mobile products and services. Before joining Opera, Mahi was co-founder and CEO of AdMarvel, Inc., the global leader in mobile advertising platforms, acquired by Opera in 2010. Prior to AdMarvel, Mahi co-founded Frengo Corporation, a mobile social media platform. Mahi also spent 10 years at VeriSign, where he was part of the startup management team. From 2002 to 2006, he served as senior vice president and general manager of Wireless and Digital Content Services at VeriSign, where he built the world’s leading mobile messaging and mobile entertainment business with revenues exceeding $600M per year. Prior to VeriSign, he served in various technology leadership roles at Taligent, Apple and NCR Corporation.
